Drawing Party!

I haven't been to a sketch night in so long...it's the best thing ever! I almost filled up my whole sketchbook.

And some life drawing...

some jaggedy ones from the subway...

you can really feel the "I may die today" vibration from the G train in these drawings.

I just found a bunch of old drawings

who knows what I was going to do with them

Edi

This assignment was to personify an element of our choosing out of a group (water, lightning, battery (?), light) for children 6-12. I chose light.

Olson

More character design. I wish I could have spent more time on this one, because I ended up really enjoying it. And after painting the stages of his life for four or so hours and thinking about all the things that happened to him over the years, I was feeling the "Olson is my baby" thing for a while. There are also some tiny, insignificant details that I put in that no one will understand except me, but I guess I can sit you down and tell you Olson's life story if you're ever interested.
